Yes. Traffic engine selection lets you compare Auto, Google, TomTom, and HERE traffic intelligence. It affects ETA and congestion data only — Google provides live traffic overlays and ETA, not truck routing. The truck-safe route always uses HERE or TomTom with your vehicle height, weight, width, length, axle count, and hazmat settings.

Yes. The app includes English and Polish, with flag buttons on the main screen. Additional languages are added on request — contact support to ask for yours.

Yes. HGV Nav supports STGO Category 1 (60 mph), Category 2 (40 mph), and Category 3 (30 mph) abnormal load routing. Legal speed limits are applied automatically and routes account for the oversized dimensions in your vehicle profile.

HGV Nav works worldwide. Driving ban alerts cover 19 European countries. Clean Air Zone alerts cover UK CAZs plus 11 EU LEZ/ZFE zones including Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Amsterdam, and Milan. Live diesel prices work in the UK, US, and 19 European countries. Vehicle presets automatically apply the correct legal limits for UK, EU, USA, Canada, or Australia. Routing engines cover the full global road network.

Most European countries restrict HGV movement on Sundays, public holidays, and sometimes Saturday afternoons. HGV Nav monitors bans in real time across 19 countries — including Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, and more. The alert turns red when a ban is active, orange when one starts within 2 hours, and is route-aware so it only flags the countries you are actually driving through.

Yard Intel is a crowd-sourced intelligence feed where drivers report live conditions at yards, depots, and distribution centres. Reports cover gate queues, bay availability, access restrictions, surface conditions, and tight turns. Drivers can attach photos. Reports auto-expire after 48 hours to stay current.

HGV Nav is a solo project — one developer, no staff, no office, no investors waiting on a return. Running costs are low, so the subscription price can be low. It's priced at what makes sense for a driver working for themselves, not at what a VC-backed startup needs to justify their round. Big platforms like Google and Apple build for billions of car users — at that scale, HGV drivers don't move the needle and dedicated truck tooling never makes the roadmap. So it had to be built independently, with a price to match.
